Credentials have been around forever, but now there is a sudden urgency to demonstrate their value to learners.

Tech giants like IBM, Google, Microsoft and Amazon aren’t standing idle; they’ve taken the initiative to create their own learning products. However, they have yet to figure out how to keep adult learners engaged. It is going to take employers working with higher education providers in tandem to drive the change needed to make credentials truly valuable to the student and the employer.
